William Barr announces he has reinstated a policy dormant for 16 years, following authorization from Congress and signing by Trump

The US government is set to carry out the death penalty for the first time in 16 years, William Barr, the attorney general, announced on Thursday, despite criticism of capital punishment as “immoral and deeply flawed”.

Total non believer, here but for a country that talks about God all the time they must have never heard of Jesus.

I miss read it first as ‘schedules live executions’ and really wasn’t that surprised.......

If I was given 200 plus years in an American Prison, I'd opt for the Death Penalty anytime. It's normally quick and an efficient escape from 🇺🇸 US 🇺🇸 incarceration. Problem is the time it takes sitting on Death Row.
