Rangers ace Todd Cantwell has received the unlikely backing of Chris Sutton ahead of next week's Old Firm derby.

After yesterday's 4-1 win over Kilmarnock live on Sky Sports, Sutton and fellow pundit James McFadden debated who would start the game in the attacking midfield role for Rangers - Cantwell, or Tom Lawrence. Now, it seems as though the former Norwich City player has been backed by Sutton to play against Celtic in favour of his teammate Lawrence.

Faddy added:"They bring something different. Tom Lawrence, you see that quality and he plays more as a No10 and a support to the striker.
