Humans of many backgrounds lost their life savings, not just this Ukrainian. I don't get the gist of this headline.

😂😂 He believed that putting his life savings in something that only exists as a digital algorithm (and isn't backed by any physical assets) was a good idea? Charles Ponzi would have been happy to call this Smoke and Mirrors scheme his own 😂😂

Hundreds have lost their life savings in what was an obvious ponzi, but now you found an UA guy in their ranks so it deserves an article? Investigate much?

Now he's gonna lose his life as well🤣

Crypto isn’t a Ponzi scheme. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Why crypto’s bruising comedown mattersCrypto’s bruising comedown has exposed weaknesses in the plumbing of the system. The problems lie with the market for stablecoins Maybe the problem lies in the fact that it's a gambling scheme and not designed for the betterment of society or humanity. How much did they pay for this article? There is no stable in stablecoin.

Tether pays out $10bn in withdrawals since start of crypto crashPace of withdrawals in May means ‘stablecoin’ company effectively dealing with slow-motion bank run alexhern this is a Tether PR piece. So shameful for guardian. You have no proof they 'paid out' + their accounts are not audited (the contrary to what you say in your article). The fact that they redeem/burn Tethers does not mean they 'paid out' (which implies fiat).
