For those on the front line of Russia's war in Ukraine, the personal toll is unbearable.

Aleksey Yukov and his men recover dead bodies of Ukrainian and Russian soldiers killed in combat in the Donbas

"We work with no days off. Constantly. We drive, we investigate, we transport, we search, all the time," he says. There are no official figures for how many Ukrainian troops have died. But one adviser to President Zelensky told the BBC last month that between 100-200 Ukrainian soldiers were being killed every day. On average it's at the lower end of that scale.

Who does Aleksey think is winning the war? "It's not about who is winning," he says. "It's about who's right. They [Russia] came here and that was unforgivable". There's no respite from the sound of heavy shelling at a military medical station we visit. The chief medical officer - who only wants to be known as Dr Anatoliy for his own safety - describes the situation on the frontline as "fragile".

The USA and UK have been the primary instigators of the present situation in Ukraine as described by this article. Russia tried and tried for seven entire years to convince the Ukrainian regime and its handlers to take the Minsk road to peace. Instead Kiev took the road to war.

Russia was continually & inexorably pushed into an ever-tightening corner by western powers led by the USA & UK to force it into a situation where it was permanently under threat from NATO. This was never going to be allowed by those who had guardianship of the nation's security.

If things have become 'unbearable' for Ukrainians on the front line with Russia perhaps they should remind themselves of the seven years when Moscow attempted to no avail to convince Kiev and the western powers to implement the Minsk Accords as ratified by the United Nations.

The irony is that the MORE Russian corpses the better and quicker end to the situation.

😥😥😥😥

What was the body count in Donbas BEFORE Russia invaded Ukraine? Care to report on that? 20,000? 30,000?

On average, 100-200 Ukrainian soldiers die every day! That's a very serious figure and scary to the core! Someone stop this nonsense for once and for all.

Body collectors in Libya, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq lost count too but it didn’t make the news on
