Too much blood has been spilled in Ukraine to make a stupid deal now. The minister speaks well and Germany and France only look at business. They have fallen into Putin's trap and do not know how to get out of it

The end result will be a peace deal with a rump Ukraine that is neutral and unable to ever join NATO.
