Ukraine news live: War 'turning in Russia's favour' - as Putin to make first foreign trip since invasion

The office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released a statement outlining his call with G7 leaders."The president stressed the importance of the decision to grant Ukraine the status of a candidate for accession to the European Union," it said.
