UK weather: Second highest health alert level issued for England as another heatwave to last longer than one last month

Another heatwave is heading to the UK - exacerbating dry conditions that have already led to hosepipe bans in some parts of the country.highs of 40.3C seen last month, this latest hot spell is expected to last much longer.A level 3 alert is in place for southern and central England, and a level 2 for the North. Level 4 is the most serious designation.The heat-health alerts are designed to help inform healthcare workers in England how to manage in high temperatures.
