Wind, solar and tidal projects will compete for contracts, including funding for onshore schemes

Dan McGrail, chief executive of the trade organisation Renewable UK, said the scheme could bring forward private investment of over £20bn in a boost to jobs and the UK supply chain, while reducing energy bills and helping the UK to meet its climate targets.

where the hell is all this money coming from? £millions for this £billions for that . tax increases, pension decreases. does anyone have any idea what's going on anymore?

I heard the UK gov have fossil fuel companies a couple billion for perspective. We can all do better.
