Summer might officially be over but the start of this week is going to be a scorcher.

It looks like we’re going to be dusting off the picnic blankets and barbecues for one last dance this week Forecasters are predicting an Indian Summer across the country from Monday, just when it looked like it might have been done for good.

Edinburgh is forecast to reach 23C on Wednesday, while the best of the weather will come on Tuesday in Belfast. Annie Shuttleworth, a Met Office forecaster said: ‘We are expecting temperatures to rise at the beginning of the new week.
