BBCPolitics Can we stop making things in China and start making them in uk to

BBCPolitics Please attribute these quotes in the tweet text... this one is from the Chinese Ambassador.

As far as Huawei is concerned it would be 'Buy now, pay later'. Why would any sane government agree an irreversible dependency for their critical infrastructure with an aggressive totalitarian state who show scant respect for rule of law, human rights or commercial copyright.

1G should be enough for anyone.

'Disappointing and Wrong' - I wonder how the ambassador describes China's human rights record, I bet he doesn't use those words 🤔

Bully Trump wins yet again. Unbelievable.

Any Chinese company cannot refuse to 'cooperate' with the Chinese authorities, that includes Huawei as per China Anti Legislation.

Ha! As if we care what they say. Would they have their networks run by a foreign state? Nope.

Fear?!?

UK willnot get any profit for this action, just show idiot Trump his Sweet honey 🍯

UK just doing whatever America says. Remember when America was under England’s control... must be Trump’s wet dream to repay the favour! He wants the UK to prove itself for a pitiful ‘Sweetheart Deal’♥️

Wong

Does anyone else find it a bit discomforting the way we're being slowly conditioned to see China as an enemy?

tRump took credit for England not using Huawei, just today

It is good there are somebody still awake, when the others are pretending asleep.

Great news. Safer the world. Thanks for making right decision.

I know America is, eventually they need to properly negotiate, and stop infiltrating sovereign nations on a near constant basis. I appreciate the move away from Hauwei. Certainly Huawei is not a mere business as they have China as representative. China 🇨🇳 is conducting a full insurrection of the West and Merkel still bows to them-/ it makes you wonder? She even went along with their Aktion T4 plan for Covid19–remember when she was having her existential crisis! She knew, And still goes along with it!
