End of holidays and reopening of schools result in fewer people visiting high streets

UK shopping destinations have recorded the first weekly drop in visitor numbers since lockdown in late April, as the end of the summer holidays and reopening of schools deterred consumers from visiting high streets.

The point of no return will come for our high street shops very soon. Once it’s not viable to open they’ll shut. For good. Meanwhile American online retailers like Amazon based in Luxembourg clean up. They’re destroying our retail sector.

A simple way to get people to come back is to ditch the silly ‘face covering’ thing.

It’s almost as though there was a back to school rush, and now there isn’t…
