Tory health minister Andrea Leadsom said the government was committed to "exploring formal steps we can take to further restrict vape advertising and sponsorship".
The Daily Record launched its Bin the Vapes campaign last January in a bid to get rid of disposable e-cigs.Addressing an amendment proposed by Oswald to the bill, Leadsom told the committee: "I commit right now to explore formal steps we can take to further restrict vape advertising and sponsorship".She also asked Leadsom to give a "little more certainty".
"I had put down an amendment to the Tobacco and Vapes Bill to ban the advertising of vapes on sports strips and in sports venues and will work with the UK government, and parties from across the house, to ensure this happens - in an effort to protect our young people's health.
