It wasnt brexit, its was song it sounds too much like sam Smith one.

Goes to show how much other Europeans hate Britain.

How to ruin your musical career

I thought he sang his heart out .... we are just not liked at all anything to do with Europe we truly are the poor entry

It was really poor. Low level production, average vocals, no pizzaz and he forgot to dress for the occasion. I predicted 24th so gutted I got it wrong !

Politics aside that song was very very poor. As a nation we are light years behind our Eurovision colleagues in terms of innovation, quality of song writing , X factor and song/act selection. This is has been the case for decades & like Brexit we are sadly clueless.

Maybe it’s because the UK sees the contest for what it is.. a big joke

It wasn’t the song or the singer - it was the political leadership of the country that was rejected

Nice lad, shit song.

Sure-fire indicator of the status of Britain thanks to brexit. Another reward for the self-harm the UK is committing. Other cool brexit songs could include Please Don’t Go and (if you’re Nigel Farage) The Horst Wessel Song.

How much do we pay to take part in this farce?

I had a choice of either watching the eurovision song contest or watching the 1L of mat teal paint I'd just applied to my internal doors....isn't teal a beautiful colour.

I hope the song is about the European Union.

But we don't care, goodbye.

It was painful to watch

It’s flopped because nobody likes us anymore! Brexit is and will be the worst thing to happen to us- I say will be but I still have hope there’ll be a PeoplesVote

The worse programme on TV. Paid for by me and you. It’s time we stopped using license payers money for the self humiliating farse. Better still let’s get rid of the license fee altogether.

A lot of Eurovision fans detest the idea that certain countries don't have to pre-qualify. So unless the UK, France, Spain and Germany have an outstanding/outrageous entries they will never get votes. Simple.

It's so funny how these LGBT people blame themselves Europe wide on TV!

It was a shit entry we need to go power ballad next year even his wardrobe let him down skinny jeans for chubby legs ?
