Growth in the services and construction sectors was offset by a 'poor showing' from manufacturing.

"The GDP figures were not quite as bad as we had feared in quarter four. The stagnation in GDP beat our forecast of a 0.1% quarter-on-quarter fall." Rob Kent-Smith, the ONS's head of GDP, said:"There was no growth in the last quarter of 2019 as increases in the services and construction sectors were offset by another poor showing from manufacturing, particularly the motor industry."

Surely not. According to Liar-Johnson we have a very very strong booming economy and lowest unemployment since records began!
