A mistake to think of these things as isolated incidents. This is most likely the latest 'regime change' operation. How do these conflicts get forced to the point of justification of hostilities? Stifling sanctions regimes may be important
The tanker seizure off Gibralter seems to have been done unilaterally, without talking to other allies (like Spain). The US sanctions on Iran have made the situation worse. Itis important we don’t rely on one supplier like Saudi Arabia for oil, whilst we are on fossil fuels.
