The Office for National Statistics has just published its latest coronavirus death figures. They say that between 1 March and 30 June, there were 50,335 deaths involving Covid-19 in England and Wales. 46,736 of those deaths had COVID-19 assigned as the underlying cause of death. Some 26% of those who died had dementia and Alzheimers, the ONS said.
I don't get it... there are still the excess deaths, the fact PHE is run effectively by the government, there are a high number of false negatives / positives AND why would doctors lie about cause of death
Didn't they say it's not the right time for a review of any kind? Hmmmm
Amazing how quickly the government order a review when it thinks figures may work in its favour, but reviews are always ‘too soon’ if possible result could be detrimental.

Some tested for Covid died of other causes. Some died of Covid weren’t tested. 65k excess deaths remains sadly true. In other news, Govt unable to obtain contacts from c30% of those tested positive and have zero measures of whether those promising to self isolate actually did.
Any figures communicated by Hancock / Johnson have no cred. because of all the previous clever talk, sharp accounting and general deceit. It's way too late for them to recover their reputations.

The emergency is to make people wear a mask instead of 0.1% of the population, not to spend money trying to pretend that someone died of 'mysterious lung damage' instead of 'covid-induced lung damage'... I don't understand this country
