UK army recruitment ads target 'snowflake' millennials

I read the article, so I understand the target audience and the motivation. It’s disappointing, however, to see another “clever” ad campaign based on the use of generation labels and stereotypes. [Father of son who served in US Army.]

Gen Z are not Millenials. Literally different generations. Millennials are 22-38 currently, born 1981-1996.

Oh their lack of recruitment has nothing to do with being killed, getting limbs blown off, or getting PTSD from pointless wars for profit. It’s all about messaging towards “snowflakes”. Does the UK military want to turn Gen Z/Gen Y into thedavidcrosby?

Seems that the UK has a very huge problem to fill vacancies - 30.000 teachers, 10.000 nurses, 15.000 doctors, 20.000 care workers, and now a number of soldiers. At the same time some people say that foreigners - most from EU - 'rob' their jobs. It´s not logical, is it?

Imagine that! The Army is targeting the age range they want to recruit from. Perhaps they should target the ageing gammons who seem to believe they fought in WW2.
