DOMINIC Raab has accused Iran of a “deliberate and callous” drone attack on an oil-tanker that killed a British armed forces veteran.in the Arabian Sea and a Romanian crew member was also killed.Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab believes Iran was behind the attackThe Brit, who has not been named, was working for the Herefordshire based security company Ambrey and was onboard the 600ft tanker.

However, now the Foreign Secretary has said it is highly likely that the attack was carried out by Iran.He said: “The UK condemns the unlawful and callous attack committed on a merchant vessel off the coast of Oman, which killed a British and a Romanian National. Our thoughts are with the friends and family of those killed in the incident.

“UK assessments have concluded that it is highly likely that Iran attacked the MV MERCER STREET in international waters off Oman on 29 July using one or more Unmanned Aerial Vehicles .
