Two women injured as car drives through Seattle protest crowd

Two women were struck and injured by a car whose driver sped through a protest-related closure on a freeway in Seattle, authorities said on Saturday.

*not women, both the victims are non-binary and use they/them pronouns

Sheesh! Carjacking can be a dangerous endeavour, especially when the intended victim goes into evasive mode.

If you only read this article you'd just assume that the car plowed into a crowd on purpose. Having watched the video and seen a car brake and try to swerve, it's not so clear that's the case. Guardian spin.

So it's late at night. You've seen all the footage about what happens to people in cars and trucks (I saw one truck with its windshield shattered and then 'peaceful protestors' pulled the dude from the car and beat him) Why the heck would anyone in their right mind stop.

The interstate had been blocked for 1 hour before the incident. There were 2 cars closing access as barriers and yet the drivers drive through them. It was a premeditated act.

Isn't this one of the cities that abolished the police? Shame no1 can investigate it...
