Two women whose bodies were undiscovered "for some time" at a Nottingham house were council tenants, it has been revealed. The bodies, believed to be those of a mother and daughter, were found by police at an address in Hartley Road, Radford on Tuesday morning .
A spokesperson for Nottingham City Council confirmed the women were tenants in a council property. “We were deeply saddened to hear the news and our thoughts are with the friends, family and neighbours of the two residents at this time," they said."We are currently liaising closely with the police to understand the circumstances around this tragic incident.” Neighbours told Nottinghamshire Live they had not seen the pair for at least three weeks.
