Two major shops closures in Leeds city centre

As we know, in recent years, it has been a tricky time for the high street. There have been ups and downs in Leeds city centre.

Unfortunately, we have news to bring you from the latter camp. Firstly, jewellery specialist Ernest Jones has shut their shop in Commercial Street. Signs in the unit’s window advise customers they can find their nearest branch at the White Rose Shopping Centre. Those who would like to contact the company can email customer.services@ernestjones.co.uk.Elsewhere, signs have gone up in the window of outdoor pursuits specialist Blacks, based in The Core, stating the shop will soon close. The banners state: “Closing down. All stock must go, 30 per off absolutely everything.
