Two pickpockets who ran a ‘campaign of theft’ on the tube and used stolen cash to fly back to their families in Romania have been jailed.
Prosecutor Geoffrey Porter told the court the duo’s victims included a mother with her two young children and a tourist. Defending them, Bridget Irving said the thieves came to the UK together around November last year, having been promised accommodation and work.
