Donald Trump has said the Spanish flu"probably ended the Second World War" - despite the conflict having started almost two decades later.
The US president incorrectly stated the pandemic began in 1917, one year before the first cases were reported in 1918. What a faux pas but I suppose the 2nd world war is much more memorable than the first. He ain’t the first nor will he be the last to mix it up. Just glad this is the main point Sky News has taken away from this press conference 🙄
