Supreme court order gives administration the green light to turn away those who have passed through a third country

The Trump administration is threatening to move swiftly to impose a near-total block on Central Americans seeking asylum at the US-Mexico border after the US supreme court gave its temporary blessing to a nationwide clampdown that effectively ends America’s status as a safe haven for those fleeing persecution.

It’s no different to what we have in Europe, for now. Apart from the fact that the majority are allowed to pass through as many Eu countries as needed to get to the uk.

We should do that here because at the end of the day it will deter these people and save lives as well. They must seek asylum in the first safe country. It is a simple as that...

Ban on people who travel through 2 or 3 countries to get here and then try to apply for asylum
