Republican lawmakers and Donald Trump’s legal team have signaled that Saturday’s impeachment proceedings would not go all day as they prepare to launch a full-throated defense of the president.
Pretty sure attempt to bribe is a crime but aside from that impeachment doesn’t require a crime... it’s abuse of power and the office.
This is not a trial on President Trump. It’s a trial of constitutional integrity. Brush up on Separation of Powers. Dems are trying to redefine the rules. FISA was not a good idea in its genesis.
Republicans count with the opportunity, to confront not only the contrive Democrats impeachment, instead the fault lines, revealed in the US 🇺🇸foreign policy non-transparent managment with Americans, regardless the investment of tax payers money, in regime change FAIL actions.
They can only cry “hoax” and “witch hunt” so many times. With all the shouting these Republican lawyers do, they’ll be hoarse by midday.
Because a) Trump has no defense, b) they’re too immature to sit stil and pay attention anymore in compliance with the rules they made, c) the American people won’t waste a perfectly good weekend to watch their lies on TV.
Even Jay Sekulow can't spend eight hours lying. But he could come close...!
