Donald Trump's legal team has filed its first formal response to impeachment charges against the president, calling them a"dangerous attack on the right of the American people to freely choose their president"., Mr Trump's lawyers said the two articles of impeachment - abuse of power and obstruction of Congress - were nothing more than a partisan attempt to remove him from office.
"This is a brazen and unlawful attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 election and interfere with the 2020 election - now just months away," they added.
Trump do not care about the American people but himself.
