Trucker on trial for rape now believed to be serial killer

Authorities have hypothesized that his mental degradation appears to be a symptom of neurosyphilis, which is a sexually transmitted disease that affects the central nervous system.Given his current mental condition, a judge ordered Legg undergo an evaluation to determine if he was fit to stand trial.
