Troubled former NFL star Charles Rogers, who admitted to battling drug addiction during his glittering football career, has died aged just 38.
Rogers, who had eight children, battled drug addiction while playing football, and most recently worked in an auto repair shop ‘He could have had a scholarship in all three sports. Rogers was the star of his college team in 2001 and 2002, and holds the record for most touchdowns in a career,He won the Fred Biletnikof Award for the nation’s best wide receiver, and had 2,821 yards as well as 27 touchdowns in just two seasons while at college.
