ARMY bosses have been blasted for telling troops to travel to a firing range in civilian clothes so the military is not criticised over Covid-19 compliance.

“The masks don’t need to comply to any medical standard so issued headovers/shemaghs will be sufficient.” It attracted hundreds of likes and comments - with most mocking the military chiefs who wrote the instruction. “By asking people to wear civvies, it shows an over-sensitivity to what people might say about the Army.
