Transgender pupil, 12, given puberty blockers, as mother says she 'wanted to be a girl from age of three'

A 12-year-old transgender girl has started puberty blocking treatment, as her mother says she "knew from the age of three" that she wanted to be female.

Not old enough to make a decision like that !! Whats next !!

😡😡😡 This is child abuse. Just look at how many people transition and regret it and who knows suicides could be link to the same regret. I have no problems with adults without mental health issues transitioning but leave children alone! Global warming better hurry up, god sake

Someone please tell me how our GMC and uk law allow this in under 18 year old 'children' . As a Dr i have real problems processing this .

Just not right chlidren services should be called in and to take control of this potential perversion . It is downright child abuse.

He's a boy (with serious mental health issues and should not be splashed across media or lied to by his parents in this way).

From the mother and all these allowed to do this. Should all be struck off and the child taken away from the mum. Child abuse no worse than a parent hitting their child. Infact this is sadly even worse. My god when she/he is older and changes mind again and feels even worse.
