A Darwen man was found dead at a local park after sending his brother a message indicating he intended to take his own life.
An inquest at Blackburn Town Hall today heard that in the hours before he was found dead Brandon had sent a text to his brother which 'caused considerable concern'. His family called police to voice their concerns believing that he might be at risk of taking his own life.In a statement to the coroner Detective Iain Czapowski from Lancashire Constabulary said he had been called to the park in Borough Road at 7.35am on March 28 after Brandon's body was found.
The inquest heard that a number of texts on Brandon's mobile phone, found by his body, indicated that he planned to take his own life. The medical cause of death was given as hanging.
