Didn't the 'independent' publish an article stating an extra 20,000 officers was insufficient only yesterday?

ShaunBaileyUK is right. It’s a shame that a comment from 2005 is thrown in his face too. A lot has happened in 14 years for god sake. Extra police on the streets won’t stop crime from happening it can only act as a deterrent as the problems are deeper within society
