Opinion: Rory Stewart puts the other TV debate Tory challengers in the binThe rank outsider was the winner tonight, but the problem with his message is that it comes close to saying that Brexit cannot be done – that may be too much honesty for the Conservative Party and the country He embarrassed himself as usual. Hes got more change of being PM than I have. He’s comedy gold though Was the sea too polluted to put them in? It may sound out of tune & perhaps bitter but the minute the lead vocalist of a group becomes the face of a group inevitably the rest of the lads in it become the backing group. Opinion: Rory Stewart’s idea for national service is a reactionary fantasyImposing a compulsory NCS is nothing more than slapping a pretty plaster on a massive gaping wound. Inequality is the real cause of the chasms in our society – but of course the Tory contender doesn’t have a plan for that I thought it was citizens service like Cameron introduced So, the Independent thinks it's a bad idea to ask youth to give back to the country, like that out-dated concept of serve and protect. I mean really, the youth have better things to do than love their country, right? Is this a real person or a Marvel villan?
