The Tories took to Twitter this morning to inform followers that their long-awaited manifesto would finally be landing on November 24.
However, in the picture that accompanied their post, they wrote that the manifesto would be coming today, November 23. Clearly not realising the mistake, Boris Johnson retweeted the post, reminding his followers to ‘Vote Conservative’.The Tories likely hoped that no one would have noticed their blunder. However, it was too late to hide it and people in the comment section soon clocked on.
Twitter user @Remain4U wrote: ‘Is it today or tomorrow?! You just deleted a tweet saying it was launching today?! #Weakandwobbly #GetBrexitGone’.Another person with the Twitter handle @SectionY2018 found the situation amusing, writing: ‘Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Quick delete and get the date right’.How can we trust a government who can’t even get the date right?!’ whileMetro.co.uk has contacted the Conservative Party for comment.
Further proof if any were needed that Boris can't get anything right
Blundering again
