Tony Blair's knighthood is a 'kick in the teeth' to the people of Iraq

Tony Blair has long faced backlash over his decision to lead UK into war in 2003.

It was announced on Friday he had been appointed to the Order of the Garter. More than 350,000 have signed Change.org petition set up against knighthood. Military mothers have also threatened to return Elizabeth Crosses in disgust

If Blair had an ounce of conscience he’d refuse this honour & stop embarrassing Her Majesty the Queen We’ve seen his character, his infamous acts & yet, still he doesn’t bat an eyelid where most would, so don’t hold your breath that he’ll do the right thing.

The man should stand trial for war crimes and spend the rest of his life behind bars. The US would have invaded Iraq with or without UK backing. Outrageous the powers that be even thought this was a good idea!
