Labour’s deputy leader, Tom Watson, is promising to “ensure all voices within the party feel they are being heard”, as he convenes a new centre-left grouping of MPs, widely regarded at Westminster as a rival power base to Jeremy Corbyn’s.
It's all a bundle of b-llsh-t aimed at baffling their voters into believing that Labour's anti Semitic religious spite is being dealt with, Corbyn is still a Marxist and from where I sit Watson is still a fascist supporter. Nothing Changes.
Surely even the Guardian isn't stupid enough to know that it's not 'centre-*left*'. It's centre at most.
We have a centre left group. It's called the Labour Party. Off you pop.
Good! Then boot out The Corbynites!
Wrong. Britain needs a centre-right party led by Nigel Farage. Known as the Brexit Party, with defined anti-socialist policies. Socialism is an evil.
How will we tell the difference from what happens now?
Labour should expel this fifth column leader!
Well done Watson for spitting the anti tory vote,so they get in again.Just do your job and get behind Corbyn,or get out.
Wonder how much better Labours chances of winning the next election would be if Tom was the leader, instead due to the current leader Labour are trailing with a good example of how bad they are is the number of Tory MP’s making gaffes and staying in their jobs
I’ll have to get me caps out: TOO LITTLE TOO LATE
Labour will choose “socialist purity” and “being right about everything” over getting elected.
TOM WATSON is..'Mr. BUMBLE 🎈, the pompous & ignorant beadle of the workhouse where Oliver is raised. 'Bumbledom', named after him, characterises the meddlesome self-importance of the petty bureaucrat. He also is an unlikely source of comic relief'🎵 But SO loved by the Guardian.
*yawn*
He’ll make a fine prime minister
Why doesn't he just leave and start his own party? What a clown.
🤦♀️
No one cares.
Fingers crossed the Labour Party membership will see sense and replace Jeremy Corbyn with Tom Watson... I suspect they'll choose to spend another generation in opposition with their 'ideals' intact, crying from the sidelines.
Another one? Hey! ProgressOnline you've got competition for most irrelevant centre-left faction in Labour. Are you up for the tussle? Battle4CentristIrrelevance
Centre left ?
КЛЯНУСЬ МОЕЙ СВЯЩЕННОЙ ДУШОЙ Я ЗАЛЬЮ КРОВЬЮ ПАРЛАМЕНТ АНГЛИИ...
He’s a fuckin embarrassing mess
Perhaps for Tom THE DIAMOND GROUP
The number of mini parties within the Labour party is asounding... No wonder Labour is a mess, boot them all out and they migh find some common cause and unity. Its not worth voting Labour until they do.
The Centre-Left-over Group...or CLOG. We clog up politics in Labour
Deselect him.
But they still have the kit and caboodle up their sleeve, FreeAssange 🙈🙉🙊🥀
It’s already a centre left party. It’s actually the first time in my life it has been. Can we just call these guys what they are? Fiscal conservatives with minor liberal social positions.
This man is really stepping up. Hopefully he's got plans to step in when Corbyn is finally done in.
Are whackos allowed contribute.
I suspect the Corbyn mob can’t wait to kick him out in the next labour election. Well done Tom!
God this is embarrassing
Let Militant back in then
Interesting!
He can't call it The Independent Group as that name is already taken.
