Maybe you cannot go see the Olympic game, but you can play the Olympic game.

I feel so sorry for Japan. All that effort into what would have been a glorious event destroyed.

MorpheusBeing This isn't going to end well, is it?

This suicidal Olympic will do harm to not only Japanese but the whole entire humanity!!

what a terrible shame those poor elite athletes i can't imagine how this could have happened perhaps someone wasn't wearing a mask

An inaccurate method to suppress COVID-19 has been exposed. The hospital in Tokyo is almost full, even if athletes have trauma, heatstroke, vascular disease, or COVID. The athletes will bring back medals & new variants COVID to your country. cancelTheTokyoOlympics Tokyo2020

Tokyo Olympics should be postponed, while giving Tokyo the reserved and unfettered rights to host the next Olympics as soon as the global COVID19 Pandemic is over globally, this is only fair to Japan, good and safe for the whole world

You can just see how this is going to end up - total farce with maybe 4 runners in the 100m winning devalued medals and all for the sponsors to recoup some money but nothing to do with the the athletes or general publics safety.

Imagining the showpiece 100m final with just 3 runners....

It’s a no brainer … so easily predicted. Even without spectators, it’s still a super spreader.

..in a city which announced a state of emergency.
