Woods was driving between 84 and 87 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone and struck a tree at about 75 mph, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said in a press conference a month-and-a-half after the incident. Woods, or anyone else, would not be cited in a single-vehicle crash without a witness.

No scent of alcohol or narcotics were found in Woods’ 2021 Genesis GV80 after the February 23 crash. Woods told investigators he was not drinking or taking prescription medication and law enforcement officials did not seek blood samples.reason had been determined‘We have all the contents of the black box, we’ve got everything’, Villanueva said in a news conference last Thursday. ‘It’s completed, signed, sealed, and delivered.
