Around 3.5 miles of a major road is to shut next month while works are carried out.

The eastbound carriageway of the A726 GSO will be shut from the Maidenhill Interchange to Belle Craig Roundabout.

The closure will be in place over two consecutive nights from 8pm to 6am between Monday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 17.The works are said to be weather dependent. All vehicles will be subject to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
