The annual day offers an excuse to tuck into sweet, indulgent American-style pancakes and French crêpes. Known in the religious calendar as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day is a traditional feasting day ahead of Lent - though many non-religious people also partake. With that in mind, Betway has listed the best spots worth venturing to in order to treat yourself to the fluffy, sugary treats - and three Liverpool restaurants have made the top five. Betway measured popularity with a unique index score generated by the number of hashtags each location has racked up on Instagram, as well as Google and Tripadvisor reviews.
