A thrilling 4-3 extra-time win over Annan Athletic saw them add the trophy to the Ryedale Cup

They beat Annan Athletic 4-3 in extra-time in Friday’s Rotary Cup final at Palmerston, the youngsters having beaten the same opposition in the Ryedale Cup final earlier this month.

Annan roared back but Connor, Dylan, Rory and Sami won countless headers and tackles to keep Threave in front. However, just as it looked as if they would hold out, Annan headed in an equaliser to force extra-time. Both teams were out on their feet but Annan pulled one back. However, Threave held on to claim the trophy after an incredible 120 minutes of football.
