This is twaddle. The pandemic saw the decline and death of my father thanks to the bungling of an NHS ignoring anything but covid. I got much more support from HMRC as I did the probate myself and it was a comicated estate. There were no delays and the staff I spoke to were great

Sounds like BS to me. I cannot see how working from home would make one iota of difference. Apart from perhaps meaning that those staff infected with covid not having to take so much time off sick.

Propaganda on overtime again. There has always been a wait of 'months' for these sort of documents.

Never have I heard so much rubbish. A spokesperson even says at the end of the article that people working from home have had no bearing on the delays!

The civil service needs a huge change, to make it more efficient. Maybe having people willing to work in the first place will help.
