Thousands of venomous crabs have swarmed the beaches of Cornwall, shedding their shells before returning to the depths of the sea. Read the full story:

Why you can trust Sky News

The carpet of crabs that gathered in the shallow waters of St Ives is a sight that is becoming increasingly common in the summer due to rising sea temperatures. While their presence at Porthgwidden Beach was enough to put many bathers off entering the sea, some did take the chance to snorkel above the mass of crustaceans to view the hair-raising spectacle.

It's the Tory conference already?

Time you pulled this fake news story, you’re getting as bad as the Daily Mail DailyMailUK

Venomous? wtf!

Be careful bab veegillfish

It’s their playground man.

Crap headlines, stop scaremongering and putting off potential visitors to the area, places like this need the summer visitors to survive the winter.

I didn’t know the Conservatives party conference had just happened in Cornwall?

Let me guess where you are going here … climate change?

Show me one without a shell 🥱🥱

Oh, crab!

skynews ScumMedia up to their scaremongering tricks again.

Funny how covid, omricon, monkey pox and with all the other bullshit, it's fires, cyberattacks, bird flu, etc, etc. All phenomenal happenings began in 2020-2022?

I keep pet crabs, had many different varieties, they aren’t venomous to people! Bit of a misleading headline there! Quite a few crabs are venomous to their prey, but not humans, so why make out it’s a worry? I know you didn’t put it, but the headline suggests venomous to us!

The Chinese are coming for a big dinner.

Watch your tootsies extraaustin

As Jim from the royal family would say. VENOMOUS MY ARSE

Oh great here comes the crabby pox

Yet another lazy headline from sky news

It’s hardly Jaws is it ffs?!

I’ve caught crabs few times in Cornwall

Surprised that haven’t tried to blame it on climate change as they seem to do with virtually everything else

You lot are so extra spider crabs aren’t venomous to humans yet you lead with that 😂
