Thousands of people braved the rain and cold to watch one of the only firework's displays taking place in Manchester this year. People gathered at the Mayfield Park for their bonfire night event with Escape to Freight Island.
Speaking to the MEN Katie said: "We came to see a fireworks display because it was cancelled so, it's great that we can come to an organised display. "It's really nice because this park is new so It's nice that their doing something so people can see the park and then come back."
