This Sporty New Ugg Is Already A Supermodel Favourite

You heard it here first: there’s a new Ugg in town, and it’s already being spotted on the feet of the buzziest stars right now. It’s a safe bet that this new style will go viral this spring, just like the Ultra-Mini and Tazz styles before it. Last year, snaps of supermodel Bella Hadid in her Ultra-Mini platform Ugg boots flooded social media. In 2024, it’s the turn of Bella’s sister, Gigi, who is thrusting a new Ugg shape into the spotlight.

Just a few days earlier, actor Barry Keoghan – whose name has been on everyone’s lips post-Saltburn – was seen wearing the same shoes, meaning they’ve had the seal of approval from the fashion industry and from young Hollywood. Originally worn by surfers in Australia in the 1960s, over the decades the utilitarian shoes have become a mainstream must-have – and for customers who frequently have no intention of wearing them to the beach.
