Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has shown off one of its smartphones reaching a full charge in just eight minutes.
In about the time it takes to make a cuppa, the phone’s 4,000mAh battery is filled up with the company’s 200W ‘HyperCharge’ tech. The phone in question is a modified Mi 11 Pro and Xiaomi says it’s a record speed for charging a phone.Perhaps the days of having to leave a phone on charge overnight are nearing an end?
