Former This Morning star Fern Britton has sparked rumours she could return to the ITV show. The TV presenter was the permanent host of This Morning from 1999 to 2009.
Fern largely remained out of the spotlight after leaving the show, but has since made a comeback on this year's Celebrity Big Brother. She came in fifth place on the reality TV show. Earlier this week, she took part in an interview on This Morning following her CBB stint, making her grand return to the iconic sofa.
Fern first joined the This Morning family as a guest presenter in 1993. She then teamed up with John Leslie with the pair becoming the permanent presenters of the hit show. From 2002, she hosted the show with Phillip Schofield. In March 2009, Fern announced she'd decided to leave her role at This Morning and her final episode aired in July 2009.
Following her CBB eviction on 22 March, Fern sat down for a chat with hosts AJ Odudu, 36, and Will Best, 39. When asked if her experience on the show had reignited her love for TV and if we'd see her on our screens again, Fern revealed that her immediate plan was to take a break from the world of television, reports the Mirror.
