Ex-EastEnders actor Danny Dyer caused mayhem on Thursday's edition of This Morning, telling the in-studio chef John Torode that his peas weren't cooked properly

This Morning welcomed ex-EastEnders actor Danny Dyer onto the programme on Thursday, where he caused utter chaos for a moment while sampling chef John Torode's food.

As Cat, 47, and Ben, 49, tucked into their grub, Danny wasn't too pleased with what he'd been presented with and informed the cook that his peas were too hard. The presenter proceeded to ask Danny what he thought of the sauce, to which he responded with a straight face: "Not for me... I'm joking, I'm joking!"

"I've actually built a wardrobe, eight layers of sponge standing up on top of each other and then I put fondant on. I am just praying that it does not collapse," he teased. "I'm definitely not nervous. I have done some really scary things in my time. So this wasn't a nerve-wracking thing.
