This clip of Boris Johnson meeting Angela Merkel, whilst simultaneously being heckled by anti-Brexit protestors is the most awkward thing you'll see today - as well as being completely brilliant.

The prime minister was in Germany to discuss the UK's orderly exit from the European Union on October 31, but as the shook hands with Merkel, they were interrupted by a ring chorus of protestors shouting"stop Brexit".

No it's not. Try getting behind our Country and it's PM for a change. What a nasty unpleasant rag this is.

Ooh goody 😉

God, he is so pathetic!

Awkward? You mean AWESOME!

Hecklers gotta heckle...

I was hoping for worse.

What's brilliant about heckling What's the purpose and what does this achieve I am waiting for answers. I thin any leader deserve some respect!! Unless of course it's the orange one in the oval office

Boris Johnson says EU being 'a bit negative' but insists 'we'll get there' - videoBoris Johnson on Tuesday accused the European Union of being 'a bit negative' about the Brexit negotiations, adding it was going 'to take a little patience' to break the deadlock Boris Johnson is an idiot and a grifter. You know, we Americans can get snowed by Brits because of the accent, but what's your excuse- why is this man the PM, and what is it about Conservatism everywhere that rewards venality? Oh please. If he wants them to stop being 'negative' he should make a constructive proposal. Transparent preparation for a blame game in a few weeks. Will anyone be gullible enough to fall for it? If by “a bit negative”, you mean NFW. 😀

Steve Bell on Boris Johnson and the Brexit standoff – cartoonThe European Union has rebuffed Boris Johnson’s attempts to tear up the Irish backstop, in a coordinated response that appeared to close the door on further meaningful Brexit negotiations PM Johnson and the right do not get it. They just don;t care for their Trust Fund money is safe. Just about says it all. Unfortunately BorisJohnson's Brexit negotiation plan is messier than his hairdo. For the sake of a country that I hold dear to my heart...put the UK's - not the ERG's - best interests first...and get a proper barber for crying out loud!
