The wait before the ceremony was typical of the times. As we sat two metres apart waiting for our call, we reminded ourselves that there have been many tragedies as a result of the pandemic, and that we were blessed to be able to get married in front of our loved ones. After the ceremony, we were greeted by friends outside Hackney Town Hall to raise a glass; another blessing that we will cherish.
, we made the spontaneous decision to jump on the bus. It was one of my favourite moments; there’s nothing like being in your wedding dress, just married, and on the bus en route to sip a margarita. We then walked to the Marksman for their signature beef and lamb buns, and chicken and wild garlic pie, which was the perfect post-wedding dinner.created the dreamiest dinner setting.
